Along with abovementioned color standards developed by specialized institutes, some major manufacturers and processors of PPGI have implemented their own color catalogues. The most well-known of these is RaColor (RR) which was created by the processor RautaRuukki (now Ruukki) from Finland to brand the colors of their products. Since Ruukki occupy a large share of the European construction market, this color catalog has become widely used. Currently, the RR palette includes 28 primary colors.

The following manufacturers also have developed their own color catalogs: Areco, KAMI, CORUS, Finish Profiles, SSAB, Lindab, Mera System. Colors in these catalogs are not identical to RAL and NCS, although in most cases it is possible to pick similar color shades or reproduce the necessary color using a sample.
