At OrelMetallPolymer, we continuously work to control and improve the quality of our products. One of the important quality parameters of PPGI is its durability and resistance to climatic factors, which may differ depending on the geography of use and are determined using so-called field tests.

A few years ago, together with our partners, manufacturers of paints and varnishes, we launched PPGI field tests in several climatic zones in Russia and abroad. Finally, at the beginning of March 2022, our samples’ long-term full-scale tests at an S5 corrosion activity landfill in Sweden (marine atmosphere) were completed. Our samples demonstrated excellent resistance to aggressive environmental factors. Based on the test results, it was concluded that OMP PPGI meets the requirements of the corrosion resistance category of the S5 according to EN 13523-21.
